Refund & Replacement Policy

Mango Patti sells fresh, seasonal mangoes grown at Vathiyar Thottam, our family farm in Muthanampatti, Tamil Nadu. We want you to be happy with every box, and we handle genuine issues fairly and quickly.

Fresh, perishable produce

Mangoes are fresh agricultural produce. Unlike packaged goods, they cannot be returned and restocked, so we do not offer change-of-mind returns. Instead, we resolve genuine problems with a replacement or a refund as described below.

Natural variation is normal

Our mangoes grow on real trees and ripen naturally. Size, shape, skin colour, small skin marks, and ripeness vary from fruit to fruit and box to box. This natural variation is not a defect and is not by itself eligible for a refund or replacement.

When a refund or replacement may be issued

We will review and, once verified, refund or replace in these cases:

• Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same order.

• Payment made but order not confirmed — the amount was debited and we could not confirm your order.

• Stock unavailable after payment — the harvest ran out before we could pack your confirmed order.

• Wrong items delivered — you received a different variety or quantity than you ordered.

• Damaged or spoiled on arrival — reported to us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the fruit and the box.

How to report an issue

Contact us on WhatsApp (see the Help page) with your order number, your phone number, and — for damage or quality concerns — clear photos taken on the day of delivery. Reports made within 24 hours of delivery help us verify and resolve the issue quickly.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the payment method you used: back to your UPI account for UPI payments, or to the original card, net-banking account, or wallet for payments made through our payment gateway (Razorpay).

Once approved, refunds are initiated promptly and typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on standard banking and payment-gateway timelines.

Cancellations

Order cancellation is covered by our Cancellation Policy. In short: you can cancel before your order is packed for dispatch; once packed or dispatched, fresh produce can no longer be cancelled.
